I was getting ready for the day recently and I stopped to think what fragrance I should wear for the day.... I inherited a bottle of "Joy" perfume by Dior from my Mother.... When I saw it left behind amongst her things it made me really sad to think that she had left this beautiful fragrance unused and Sad because she had probably thought to "Save" it.... ( as older folk are want to do) ... Again Sad .... As she should have had the benefit of enjoying this namesake fragrance for herself....
So the moral of this story is to use and enjoy the things we buy: the clothes we know we look better in; the newest ones we may have saved for; On-gift but don't save them for another day! When that other day comes, you may have moved on in taste, style, weather or a change in health and circumstances!! If you leave them in your wardrobe and see them frequently, you will get sick of seeing them and they will feel like you've worn them even if you havent!!!
Make occasions.... "Wear your Clothes and Wear them out" !!! then in the background you can quietly save a little here and there for the next favourite .... Happy weekend from me and a little Joy XX
